Program Description:
This exchange program is open to NSSR Economics and Political Theory students.

Please contact or if you are an eligible student interested in applying to this exchange program. You will need to prepare to apply at least one full semester prior to the semester when you wish to study abroad.

The language of instruction at Goethe Frankfurt University is mostly German, only a limited number of courses is offered in English (ex. faculty of Social Sciences). ​German language knowledge is helpful, but not required to participate in this exchange program. Students who do not have German language knowledge (minimum B1 level according to the CEFR proficiency scale) will have limited course of study selection options at Goethe Frankfurt University.

The Fall semester schedule at most German universities, including in this exchange program, runs from the beginning of October to early February, which extends into The New School's Spring semester. Applicants to this exchange program for Fall semester study abroad should consult with an advisor to best plan for application and participation. Applicants are also forewarned that approval to study abroad in the Fall semester is less likely.
