Program Description:
Students have the opportunity to study in Tokyo, Japan with Sophia University. Sophia University led the move to internationalization in Japan, providing study and educational opportunities that take our increasingly complex world into account.  Sophia provides an excellent educational environment for the era of internationalization, cultivating "Men and Women for Others, with Others" who can excel on the global stage.

Sophia University has more than 250 partner institutions worldwide and receives exchange students based on the student exchange agreements. Every year, more than 400 exchange students study at Sophia. Participating exchange students pay tuition to their home institution for the period of their stay at Sophia. Exchange students will be responsible for their own room and board and transportation to and from the host institution.

The program is available for both fall and spring semesters and for the full academic year. Students must have earned at least 30 credits before departure. For more information, contact langstudyabroad@newschool.edu.
